Last weekend I found and bought a bunch of Genjer (Limnocharis Flava), a tropical vegetable, in Carrefour Supermarket. Genjer is an Indonesian local name for a tropical vegetable which grow a lot on a silty soil. You probably feel a bit difficult to find it on local markets nowadays. It always remind me of one of my mother’s traditional cooking. I tried to spice it up as what is always in my imagination.
